Chevin’s Year In Review (2016)
It is with great pleasure that we sign off on the most successful year ever for Chevin Fleet Solutions.
2016 has been an excellent 12 months during which we have seen our company’s success continue – supported by our fantastic staff, industry-leading products and great clients.
Once more this year we have expanded our global operations; including opening our new office in France and taking on additional highly-skilled employees around the world to support the diverse needs of our clients.
Our award-winning FleetWave software is now used to manage more than 1,000,000 vehicles and assets in 180 countries: This figure represents a brilliant new record for us. For the twelve months ending August 2016, we also achieved global revenue increase of 57% year-on-year, with growth reported in all territories.

At Chevin, we are constantly working to ensure FleetWave remains the very best fleet management software on the market and as such we have introduced more than 100 FleetWave enhancements and developments during 2016. These include ‘under the bonnet’ upgrades as well as functionality enhancements designed to enrich user experience and boost the quality of data captured.
Innovations include enhancements to our market-leading fleet management app, FleetWave Mobile; as well as the ability to carry out real-time driver licence checking directly via FleetWave so as to help immediately assess risks and reduce administration; and much more. We have also made continued investment into our support and training to enhance communication and improve the way we meet customer requirements.
As always it is very satisfying to receive third-party recognition. This year Chevin was named as winner of the Fleet World Honour for Innovation in Fuel Saving and Management and received the award for Best Global Fleet Management Software from Corporate America. We were also pleased to be commended in the Green Fleet Awards for our Innovation in IT and we were awarded Go Ultra Low status after committing to ensure 5%+ of our fleet is electric by 2020.
We have also recently become an Associate of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) and continued our commitment to a long list of industry associations. In the UK we are a member of the Freight Transport Association (FTA) and Van Excellence Scheme. In Australia, we are a NSW Government approved supplier and member of AfMA and QAssure. In Europe, we are a member of VIL, and in North America, we are proud to be part of NCSFA, RMFMA, NAFA and more.
We are committed to achieving the highest quality management processes and this year we retained ISO9001 accreditation and successfully re-passed ISO27001 – both with zero non-conformity reports (NCRs). This accreditation provides a clear demonstration of our strong commitment to the high quality, implemented at all levels of our operation.
We were also very pleased to recently launch our brand new website- fully developed with a fresh and modern new look and is designed to be more user-friendly with enhanced functionality throughout.
Overall, it’s clear Chevin continues to go from strength to strength and we fully anticipate continuing our positive trajectory. We have some exciting ideas underway and look forward to revealing more in the New Year.
