Chevin Fleet Solutions Celebrate 34 Years of Industry Leadership in Fleet Management Software 

This week marks a significant milestone for Chevin as we celebrate 34 years of pioneering innovation in fleet management software. Founded in 1990 in a small town in the UK, Chevin has grown from humble beginnings to become a global leader, managing over one million vehicles and associated assets across more than 180 countries.

As the creators of the first web-based fleet management system, we continue to be at the forefront of fleet technology, offering solutions that not only address today’s challenges but also anticipate the demands of the future.

Celebrating a Year of Achievements 

To mark this 34-year milestone, we reflect on our significant achievements over the past 12 months: 

Launch of FleetWave SmartForms
This year saw the launch of FleetWave SmartForms, an innovative tool integrated into the award-winning FleetWave software. SmartForms empowers users to create bespoke data capture forms, automate operational processes, and provide real-time notifications, streamlining fleet management operations. 

Award Recognition
Our innovative efforts have not gone unnoticed. Over the past year, the we received ‘Highly Commended’ at the Business Car Awards 2023 for our  FleetWave Companion Apps. We were also finalists in five categories at the WhatVan? Awards 2024 and named ‘Vendor of the Year’ by Beacon Mobility at their 2023 Leadership Summit. More recently, we have been shortlisted as finalists in five categories at the upcoming Business Car Awards 2024. 

Sustainability Initiative: Trees for Fleets
Our commitment to sustainability was showcased with the launch of our ‘Trees for Fleets’ initiative. For every new FleetWave user, we plants between 10 and 50 trees, depending on fleet size.  

We also plant a tree annually for each client who remains with us. By planting these trees under our clients’ names, we are contributing to the reduction of their Scope 1 emissions. So, investing in FleetWave not only empowers users to better manage their fleets, but also actively contributes to the mitigation of emissions stemming from the broader fleet industry. 

 To date, we have planted 857 trees, contributing to the future capture of 1,293.30 tonnes of CO2. 

Global Customer Conferences
This year, we successfully hosted our 9th US Customer Conference in Scottsdale, AZ as well as our 2nd EU Customer Conference in Birmingham , UK, both of which received outstanding feedback. These conferences continue to foster collaboration and thought leadership within our FleetWave community and earned a 4.9/5-star rating from attendees.  

Looking Forward 

This year we achieved a 10% growth in our customer base, welcoming multiple fleets from across the globe, further enhancing our global presence and influence in fleet management. 

Our journey is far from over, as we look to the future, it remains dedicated to delivering cutting-edge fleet management solutions that meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers worldwide.
