EU Customer Conference 2024
This year marked our 2nd Customer Conference in the EU, held from the 10th – 12th June in Birmingham, UK, a city in the heart of the country with an abundance of rich and diverse culture, and this year the conference was rated 4.5/5 stars by attendees!

Industry Insights
Ian Nash, Project Manager at Biffa Waste Services, shared insights into their adoption of our FleetWave SaaS solution. Managing over 5,000 vehicles and assets, Biffa chose FleetWave for its exceptional usability, scalability, and value.
Our recommendation of Chevin and the FleetWave product is for two reasons. One, we know the history and we’ve been with Chevin since 2008. The second one, is the future benefit with their ambitious and trustworthy roadmap to develop more features and functions that we will need for our next generation of alternative fuel vehicles.

Ask the Expert
Our in-person “Ask the Expert” sessions made a successful return. These 30-minute one-on-one sessions are designed to help customers navigate and optimize the FleetWave platform. They offer personalized advice on reporting and customization, as well as the opportunity to make live changes to their systems.
It’s quite easy to get stuck into a ‘We’re using FleetWave, we know what good looks like in our organisation’, but theres a lot of knowledge inside Chevin and it is really useful to tap into that, so those sessions are invaluable.

Networking
We kicked off the conference with a welcome evening which consisted of a buffet and networking at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham. Customers were provided with their name tags and directed to our event app which featured the conference agenda, venue information, staff bios, session details and attendee details to enable networking.
On Day 2 we spent the evening at the F1 Arcade, a thrilling new simulation racing experience. We enjoyed head-to-head racing around some of the world’s most iconic race tracks whilst experiencing the full motion of Formula One cars.
What I’ve found the most beneficial about this conference is the networking from current users or future users of the solution.

Sustainable Welcome Packs
As an organization, we believe that creating a more sustainable world is essential for future generations to thrive. We are committed to environmentally responsible business practices and have implemented several initiatives in recent years. These include planting trees for our customers, going digital with our brochures, and achieving carbon-neutral status.
Additionally, we decided to plant a tree for each attendee of our global conferences. We have planted 104 trees, which will collectively capture 164 tonnes of carbon over their lifetimes.
Our conference welcome packs offered our customers purposeful and sustainable items for use during the event. In partnership with BambuuBrush, we included biodegradable toothbrushes and climate-neutral dentatabs. We also provided plantable notebooks, biodegradable pens, and plantable pencils from SproutWorld.
