Laura Jones – Financial Controller

Laura has held several senior accounting positions with companies including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, BMI Regional and Pattonair. She had a short-term career change to floristry before deciding that she was happiest crunching those numbers!

Outside of work, Laura enjoys travelling with her husband and never visit the same place twice – too much to see in the World! Her school days were at Welsh speaking schools and speaks Welsh!

Sam Hufton – Junior Software Developer

Sam has over 4 years’ experience working purely with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, picking up skills in C#, ASP.NET, SQL, AngularJS, SASS, and jQuery along the way – phew! He enjoys software development and is keen to get to grips with learning more about ‘how it all works’.

Sam is an avid PC Gamer and until recently, a ‘You Tuber’, achieving over 11,000 subscribers and 1.5 million views on his Minecraft devoted channel. he has supported a charity 24-hour live streaming event that raised a whopping £26,000!

Thomas Hill – IT Support

Thomas spent the last 9 years breaking down, fixing, building and researching computers. His first step into a career in computers, he is keen to learn even more about them.

An avid fan of Dungeons and Dragons, he enjoys riding his bike through the countryside and repairing broken technology such as mobile phones and computers.

 

Arun Purewal – Front End Developer

Arun has two years’ experience in front end development and joins us to further his career and learn new technologies.

Outside of work, he enjoys rugby, so much so that he tried out for the Leicester Tigers when he was 16! Liking to the be the life and soul of the party, he enjoys socialising.

 

Darren Trueman – Software Developer

Darren has been developing software for almost 20 years – 12 of these on behalf of an online property rental portal. Being keen to start a new challenge, he is pleased to be joining a team of like-minded developers.

Outside the office he likes to keep fit and is a keen animator. He contributes to OpenToonz, an open-source animation tool, project writing code and producing tutorials on his YouTube Channel. And, he used to be a baker!

 

Jay Smith – Implementations Apprentice

Jay’s interest in software began several years back as a hobby, learning basic web application, before deciding that this is the career for him. He is looking forward to developing his skills in software with us.

In his spare time, Jay enjoys experimenting with electronics and software, long distance running and walking. He is also an Air Cadet Instructor!

Alex Bright – Implementations Apprentice

Having gained several qualifications in computing, Alex knew that software development and implementation was the career path for him. He enjoys learning about new technologies.

Alex was a player in a professional eSports team and now enjoys the coaching side of things, managing several gaming teams. He also plays guitar, drum and base and is learning French.

 

Chris Hooper – Junior Business Analyst

Chris joins the team following previous analyst roles at HSBC and Barclays. He is looking forward to gaining further analyst experience here with us.

He enjoys sports, the gym and travelling – having once spent a week in North Korea.

 

Neil Robinson – Software Developer

Neil has worked as s developer for several years and more recently, in the transport sector itself working for a logistics company. he is looking forward to being involved in the technicalities of the product.

In his spare time, he enjoys swimming and motorsport.

Cristian Tobol – Software Developer

Cristian, who has been working in the IT industry for 7 years, overlapped an undergraduate degree course in Computer Science whilst employed. After graduating he began working as a developer at IBM.

He has a keen interest in space and science, plays the guitar and enjoys hiking and travelling. One memorable journey was spending a month in Asia, taking in several countries before starting his final year at University.

 

Simon Harley – Project Manager

Simon has over 6 years’ experience in project management at companies including Axiell and Boots. He was keen to join our team due to our position in the marketplace and a culture that he had not experienced before.

Simon is a fan of the classics! An owner of classic cars and at one stage, had ambitions to become a violinist, only giving up after five years.

 

Audrey Guillet – Marketing Executive

Audrey is a French student working supporting our marketing team. With an interest in digital marketing, she will be helping deliver communications across our operation in France.

Audrey loves to travel to find out about other cultures and traditions. She lived in Mexico for a year on a university exchange and whilst there, took the opportunity to visit Guatemala, Belize and Cuba. She is fluent in Spanish.

Michael Kowalewicz – Developer

Michael is a very experienced in writing code for many websites including the NAPA intranet and will be an asset to the development of FleetWave.

Away from the office, he has visited over 350 lighthouses and plays on a trophy-winning pool league team. Fans of Star Trek may be interested to know that he grew up a block away from the one and only Leonard Nimoy. V.
