Chevin recruits new team leader focused on customer satisfaction
Amjad Razak has been recruited by Chevin as its new Support Team Leader, as part of a continued drive to ensure widespread customer satisfaction throughout a significant growth period.
As Software ‘Support Desk’ Team Leader (SSDT), Amjad will oversee an in-house team providing dedicated support to Chevin’s customers, to help ensure excellent service for Chevin’s market-leading fleet management information software.
Peter Ormsby, Chevin operations director, explained:
“We are delighted that Amjad has joined us, bringing with him a wealth of relevant knowledge and proficiency gained through his experience as a team leader within the software sector.
“I have no doubt that Amjad’s technical support knowledge will help meet our customers’ requirements and further Chevin’s success.”
Chevin has long made clear the importance it attaches to the user experience, and has continued to strengthen its customer-facing team alongside its ongoing expansion.
Earlier this summer, for example, the company recruited Jack O’Mahony in a brand new software developer role, to facilitate ongoing design enhancements to its web-based, enterprise-level fleet management software, FleetWave.
In May, Chevin also hosted UK and US-based ‘user days’, to help share best practice and generate customer-led ideas for future developments and software enhancements.
Managing director Ashley Sowerby added:
“2016 to date has been a very successful year for Chevin, as we have grown, expanded and taken on new staff to support our global operations.
“As of June 2016. Chevin had achieved growth of more than 30% year-on-year and the worldwide total of vehicles managed using FleetWave now exceeds 900,000.
“Our research shows that 93% of our customers would recommend us to other fleets and I am very pleased to welcome Amjad to our team as we continue to push to offer top levels of customer service in our field.”
