From May 18-20, we hosted our 11th Annual North American Customer Conference in St Louis, Missouri, a city celebrated for its iconic Gateway Arch, rich blues music heritage, and legendary barbecue. Our attendees rated the event an outstanding 4.8 out of 5 stars!

The conference welcomed clients from 16 companies across North America, collectively managing over 130,000 vehicles, providing an invaluable opportunity for knowledge-sharing and networking.

Welcome Reception

We kicked off the conference with a lively welcome evening at the Westin St Louis, our event venue located just steps away from the iconic Busch Stadium, home of the St Louis Cardinals.

Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner while taking advantage of plenty of informal networking opportunities, with conversations flowing between fleet professionals from across the region.

The evening set the tone for the days ahead, giving attendees the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new industry peers, and begin building valuable connections in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Throughout the evening, attendees also collected their name badges and explored our event app, which provided access to the full conference agenda, venue information, staff bios, session details, and attendee profiles, making it even easier to connect, collaborate, and plan their conference experience.

Attendees gathered updates on the new technologies, provided learning opportunities, and connected with peers, creating opportunities for future collaboration.

Ice Breakers

Day 2 of the conference got off to an energetic start with a series of ice-breaker activities designed to get everyone engaged and ready for a packed agenda.

First up was a fast-paced game of Rock, Paper, Scissors with a twist, if you lost, you became the winner’s biggest supporter, cheering them on as they progressed through each round.

This was followed by a fleet-themed Kahoot quiz, which stayed tightly contested right up to the final questions. After an exciting finish, the winners were announced as follows:

  • 1st Prize – Signed Cardinals Baseball – Winner: Darin Anderson, Nashville Electric Service
  • 2nd Prize – Cardinals Mystery Pin – Winner: Fredery Martinez, Beacon Mobility
  • 3rd Prize – Jumbo Sweets – Winner: John Moraski, Beacon Mobility

A fun and competitive start to the day, setting the tone perfectly for a full schedule of sessions ahead.

Industry Insights

This year’s Fireside Chat featured Meaghan Morgan, Business Analyst at Nashville Electric Service (NES), and our CFO, Christopher Lloyd. The discussion covered key themes including compliance, mobile adoption, reporting and analytics, and the day-to-day challenges of managing modern fleets in a fast-changing environment.

The agenda also included ‘FleetWave in Action’ sessions, highlighting how customers are using FleetWave to drive real operational impact.

Justin Mahana of Southwest Gas Corporation shared how system optimization, standardization, and compliance oversight are improving fleet performance, with stronger FleetWave utilization supporting better replacement planning and efficiency.

From Beacon Mobility, Justin Hudson and Fredery Martinez discussed managing more than 14,450 vehicles across 116 locations and an $80M budget, and how FleetWave helps deliver consistency, control, and improved inventory management at scale, while supporting technician training and system adoption.

Across all sessions, attendees shared experiences, explored best practice, and exchanged ideas on how to get more from their fleet operations.

Ask the Expert

Our in-person “Ask the Expert” sessions returned by popular demand, offering 30-minute one-on-one consultations to help customers navigate and optimize their FleetWave platform.

These sessions provided bespoke advice on reporting, customization, and workflow improvements, allowing attendees to make live updates to their systems and walk away with tangible improvements.

Evening Entertainment

On Day 2, attendees enjoyed an unforgettable evening at the St Louis Ballpark, where we watched the St Louis Cardinals secure an impressive 9–6 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Bud Deck Rooftop, while enjoying a classic St Louis BBQ feast and panoramic views across the stadium. The relaxed atmosphere gave guests the opportunity to unwind after a busy day of sessions and continue conversations in a more informal setting.

Beyond the entertainment, the evening provided valuable networking opportunities, allowing participants to exchange experiences, discuss common fleet management challenges, and learn from the different strategies and approaches being implemented by organizations across North America. These conversations helped strengthen connections between attendees and encouraged the sharing of ideas that can continue long after the conference ends.

This is a great chance to talk to other clients of Chevin directly about their journey and lessons learned on adapting, changing, upgrading on Chevin.

This year, we planted 50 trees, which will capture an estimated 75 tons of CO2, the equivalent to 277,778 miles in a diesel car over the trees’ lifetime.

To date, we have planted 2,167 trees, collectively capturing over 3,300 tons of CO2 in their lifetime.
