Gareth Roulston - 10 Years at Chevin!

Our VP Professional Services, Gareth Roulston, has been at Chevin 10 years this month!

Within his role at Chevin Gareth is responsible for the management of our Project Management Office and oversight of delivery of all projects globally. A key part of his role is ensuring that our processes are as efficient as possible, which translates to a smooth delivery experience for our customers.

Additionally, he is responsible for making sure that we use our PSA software (via @FinancialForce) to it’s potential, allowing us to make the correct, data driven decisions which translates to us being ready to help our customers achieve their business objectives through the use of our software.

When asked what he likes the most about working at Chevin Gareth stated: ‘Chevin is a business with global reach and I’ve been lucky enough to work with customers all over the world during my 10 years here. The most memorable have been the trips to Australia, but Jordan and Budapest were pretty cool too!

The whole Chevin ethos is to make a difference in the working life of our end users and it’s great to know that what we are doing helps our customers in their working days. Oh, the people are great here too!’

Before his young family arrived Gareth spent a lot of time cycling, with a 10-day trip from Lands’ End to John O Groats for charity being his biggest achievement. Now he spends his spare time raising his 3 year old daughter and new born son, plus training his English Springer Spaniel puppy.

What you may not know about Gareth is that he did a degree in Psychology and worked for a market research agency, before taking the plunge and switching my focus to working in Tech, the best move he ever made!
