Preparation of this statement

This statement is based on:

  • Internal accessibility assessments using recognized tools and methodologies
  • Our latest Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT)
  • Ongoing development and testing activities

This statement will be reviewed and updated regularly to reflect improvements in accessibility.

1. Commitment to accessibility

1.1 Chevin Fleet Solutions is committed to ensuring that our products and services are accessible to all users. We recognize the importance of inclusive design and are actively working to ensure that our FleetWave platform aligns with recognized accessibility standards, including the global standard, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

2. Our approach

2.1 Accessibility is embedded into our product development lifecycle:

  • Accessibility requirements are included in design and development acceptance criteria
  • Accessibility checks form part of our quality assurance process prior to release
  • We use a combination of automated tools and manual testing, including assistive technologies where appropriate
  • Testing outcomes are recorded and traceable within our structured testing framework

2.2 We also benefit from real-world insight within our development team, including contributions from team members with lived experience of visual impairment.

3. Compliance status

3.1 This statement applies to the core FleetWave web application. It does not cover supplementary mobile applications or third-party integrations.

3.2 FleetWave is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA when assessed against its standard configuration. Many areas of the platform meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria; however, some parts of the system do not yet fully meet the required standards. We are actively addressing these areas as part of an ongoing accessibility improvement programme.

4. Known limitations

4.1 Based on internal assessments and our most recent accessibility conformance report, known areas where accessibility may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA include:

  • Some color contrast issues in parts of the user interface
  • Inconsistencies in headings and labels
  • Certain aspects of support for users with limited or no vision

4.2 We are prioritizing remediation work based on user impact and frequency of use to ensure the most critical areas are addressed first.

5. Ongoing improvements

5.1 We are undertaking a structured programme to improve accessibility across the FleetWave platform. This includes:

  • Incremental remediation of existing functionality
  • Ensuring all new features are developed in line with WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards
  • Continuous refinement of the user interface to address known issues

6. Feedback and contact information

6.1 We welcome feedback on the accessibility of FleetWave. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

6.2 We aim to respond to accessibility-related enquiries promptly and will work with customers to provide appropriate support where possible.
