Learning about new capabilities and shaping our future
With over 60 of the industry’s top fleet professionals in attendance, Chevin’s 2017 user group meeting was highly valuable for everyone involved. The annual event for our North American customers took place in the Music City, Nashville, Tennessee, from May 2-4. A similar event also takes place every year in the UK for European customers.
Our user group meetings are exclusive opportunities to network with peers from leading businesses across the fleet segments we serve at Chevin Fleet Solutions. Every year, we gather with customers to share best practices, to talk about what’s new at Chevin, and to showcase our latest product enhancements and help shape the future development of our software.
Attendees also participate in educational workshops demonstrating the newest capabilities of FleetWave, our enterprise level, web-based fleet and asset management software. This year, the specific features we covered were new forms, changes to the user interface, updates to bar coding capabilities and parts module integrations, along with FleetWave reporting using Query Builder, Motor Pool and Key Box Tools, Pivot Tables and system integration.
Also on the user group agenda were sessions on accessing data in FleetWave and hands-on training in creating letter templates, system configuration and screen design. Additionally, we held sessions on our upgraded support model and presented a real world look at how FleetWave is supporting Pike Electric’s Testing Laboratory.
Ron Katz, Senior Vice President, North American Sales, Chevin Fleet Solutions comments:
“In the past year we’ve launched a number of product initiatives, including integrations with parts suppliers systems and new email capabilities for FleetWave that support workload automation, reduce administrative burden and increase control and compliance.
“FleetWave is the central hub of all fleet data and by enhancing its existing capabilities we are enabling beneficial streamlined processes for users and addressing customer and industry needs.”
Drawing a product road map
The user group meeting is also a valuable opportunity for us at Chevin. Every year, in fact, we take time during this event to listen to customer feedback and hear suggestions and ideas that may become part of our product roadmap for the future.
Ashley Sowerby, Managing Director, Chevin Fleet Solutions says:
“Customer feedback is extremely important, not only for helping us ensure that our customers are getting the most value from their investment in FleetWave, but also so we can continuously improve our software.
“With the ongoing guidance and input we receive from customers at our annual user group meeting and throughout the year we are able to continually expand FleetWave’s capabilities and enhance our customers’ experience.”
