FleetWave User Update – February 2017

We’ve created further FleetWave enhancements and training videos this month, to help you get the most out of your software.

Here are a few of the latest items available now for all FleetWave users:

New training video available on the Chevin Academy

fleetwave configurable softwareAnother training video has been added to the Chevin Academy this month, as part of our collection of content designed to help new FleetWave users learn about the software system.

The video is titled ‘Modify Menu – POPUP Menu Configuration‘. It demonstrates how to create and configure a dashboard POPUP menu item structure in FleetWave – i.e., the items available under the options dropdown menu (also known as the ‘dashboard’ menu).

You can choose how parent and subparent items are displayed in this menu: The new Chevin Academy video walks you through how to configure the menu as per your requirements.

You can find the tutorial on the Chevin Academy under Videos >> FleetWave >> Table of contents >> Configuration & Utilities >> Modify Menu >> POPUP Menu Configuration.

A new dropdown field in ‘Modify Menu’ now enables you to choose and set icons to be displayed on menu buttons.

This new feature has been created as an improvement to the visual FleetWave user experience.

To take advantage of the feature, simply visit the options/dashboard menu, and select utilities >> modify menu.

Click on the menu item you would like to modify, and select the button icon you require from a large list displayed in a dropdown menu.

Coming soon.. WYSIWYG Email HTML composer tool

FleetWave’s ‘data rules’ email capability has been further updated with an incorporated WYSIWYG HTML composer wizard.

The new enhancement has been developed to allow you to easily insert images, different font types, graphs and links into emails without having to manually enter HTML.

This new feature is expected to be available around the start of April in the next scheduled code release.
