Last month, Chevin proudly took part in the 14th Midlands Charity Soccer Tournament, held at Leisure United in Derby in support of the incredible charity Me&Dee.<\/a><\/p>\n

The annual 5-a-side event brings together professionals from across the Midlands, and this was Chevin\u2019s sixth year competing. Each year, the tournament grows in both standard and sportsmanship \u2013 and 2025 was no exception.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

Me&Dee\u2019s<\/a> mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure families facing difficult and uncertain times are given the chance to create lasting memories together. Without the charity\u2019s support, hundreds of local families would not have had the opportunity to make those treasured \u201cforever memories\u201d in the precious time they had left.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the tournament, over \u00a32,500 was raised for the charity, with Chevin\u2019s entry contributing \u00a3170 toward the total. Over the years, the event has raised more than \u00a315,000 for good causes.<\/p>\n

On the pitch, Team Chevin put in a strong performance, scoring an impressive 28 goals across six matches before lifting the Shield (the tournament\u2019s secondary competition).<\/p>\n

To top it off, they also each took home a wooden spoon as a prize \u2013 a fun reminder of the day\u2019s spirit of friendly competition.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
