the organisation&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chevinfleet.com\/products\/fleetwave\/\">FleetWave<\/a> journey in an insightful customer presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Ian reflected on Biffa&#8217;s long-standing partnership with FleetWave, from the initial implementation in 2008 through to their more recent transition to our SaaS platform. He discussed the key drivers behind the move, the challenges and opportunities encountered along the way, and how adopting the SaaS model has helped Biffa streamline operations, improve efficiency, and achieve their return on investment (ROI) objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Having used FleetWave for more than 18 years, Biffa now manages a complex fleet of over 5,000 vehicles and more than 1,000 assets through the platform. Split into teams, attendees battled it out across four competitive games, putting their skills to the test as they aimed to land pucks in the highest-scoring zones.<\/p>\n<p>The evening offered a chance to step away from the conference agenda, enjoy some friendly competition and connect with fellow attendees in a more relaxed environment. With plenty of laughs and a little healthy rivalry along the way, it was a great opportunity to build relationships, share stories and continue the conversations sparked throughout the first day, all <h3><strong>Sustainability<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This year, a tree was planted for every attendee via our partners,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.moretrees.eco\/forests\/4E290E\">MoreTrees<\/a>, as part of our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chevinfleet.com\/blog\/chevin-launches-new-sustainability-scheme-trees-for-fleets\/\">\u2018Trees for Fleets\u2019 initiative<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This year, we planted 45 trees, which will capture an estimated\u00a067.5\u00a0tons\u00a0of CO<sub>2<\/sub>, the equivalent to\u00a0250,000 miles\u00a0in a diesel car over the trees\u2019 lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>To date,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.moretrees.eco\/forests\/4E290E\">we have planted 2,209 trees<\/a>, collectively capturing over 3,400 tons of CO2 in their lifetime.<\/p>\n\n
