Our EMEA Practice Lead,\u00a0David Pimperton, will be swimming 5km on the 13th May to raise money for\u00a0Cancer Research UK<\/a><\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Marie Curie<\/a>, who are uniting as partners for\u00a0the Swimathon<\/a>\u00a0to raise as much money as possible for two causes close to the nation\u2019s hearts.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

In my 50th year I thought I\u2019d set myself a challenge. Cancer is an insidious disease that affects so many, including my family, so for me was an obvious cause to choose plus I like a \u2018little\u2019 swim. I\u2019m unashamedly seeking any sponsorship I can get my hands on as would love to smash my target and feel that I was making a difference.<\/h3>\n \n

Between the 12th-14th<\/sup>\u00a0May, thousands of swimmers will be heading to over 450 pools across the UK to raise money. David initially had a target of raising \u00a3500, but he has already increased it to \u00a31000 after hitting that goal in just a few days!<\/p>\n
