Established more than a century ago, and now employing 2,200 staff members in 17 different countries \u2013 including Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom \u2013 it facilitates more than 5,000 daily transports, both in Europe and further afield.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The company operates a fleet of 3,000 trailers, and 550 trucks. Its modern Fleet Control department is made up of eight different positions and its professional, dedicated workforce manages large-scale, complex fleet operations. Despite Ewals Cargo Care\u2019s huge operational scale, it is still family-owned and is now in its fourth-generation \u2013 with the headquarters in Tegelen, Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><b>Ewals Cargo Care\u2019s Need for a Streamlined System<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">When we examined Ewals\u2019 previous system, we found that it was not possible to link damage reporting with service assignments, and the software did not support claims. Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chevinfleet.com\/en-au\/integrations\/\">system integrations<\/a> were limited.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><b>FleetWave\u2019s Scalability Was the Best Fit For Ewals Cargo Care<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Roger Hilberts, Business Process Engineer at Ewals Cargo Care, explained that after a lengthy procurement process in 2016, they decided that we best met their requirements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>\u201cChevin offered a highly structured, configurable system, with a range of modules that would provide in-depth oversight and specific management capabilities for the Company\u2019s rapidly growing fleet,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section  class=\"c-quote quote content-section--no-pad quote--no-image content-section\">\n    \n    <div class=\"container container--small quote__wrapper animated fadeInUp\">\n        \n        <div class=\"quote__content\">\n            \n                        <h3 class=\"u-bold fadeInUp__1\">At the start of the implementation project, for example, the company fielded 2,850 trailers \u2013 a number that has since risen by 60%, to 4,600 trailers.
