Job Title: Recruitment - Data and Business Systems Analyst
Classification: Regular/Full-time
Reports to: Sr. VP, Client and Support Services
Location: Fitchburg, MA
Objectives
The successful candidate will have experience managing complex technology projects. Key area of skills will include importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modelling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making. Knowledge of SQL, Crystal report writing and understanding of web based applications. This position will be customer facing and requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience using MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access). The ideal candidate is extremely organized and comfortable in a multi-tasking environment. Knowledge of Fleet Management and vehicle maintenance industry is an advantage. You must be a self starter and willing to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for all project related activities. Ultimately responsible for insuring a successful implementation at the client's site.
- Resource Management: Coordinating resources and activities of the Chevin Professional Services as well as client team from project inception through successful completion.
- Project Initiation: Functional requirements development, project kickoff and project documentation and development plan.
- Scope Management: Manage changes to project scope through a documented change management policy.
- Risk Management: Identify, analyze and respond to project risks as they occur.
- Quality Management: Lead quality acceptance activities for each of the project milestones.
- Coordinate transition from Implementation services to on going Support at the completion of the project.
Required Skills/Experience
- The successful candidate will have experience managing complex technology projects and requires functional knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008, data management and conversion, Crystal report writing and understanding of web based applications.
- Background in technology, information management, relational database design and development, business intelligence, data mining or statistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience using MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
- Individual must be able to obtain security clearance necessary for selected projects.

Objectives
Reporting to the SVP Operations and Client Services, the Application Developer researches designs and develops software to meet and exceed Chevin and client requirements. Including, testing, debugging, and maintaining the systems. Ensuring adequate in-depth knowledge of the systems are achieved and maintained. The successful candidate will be personally responsible for the development of high quality software code that is instrumental in the successful implementation of our flexible web-based enterprise fleet management information software, FleetWave®. This position requires verifiable experience writing complex code in C#, SQL, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML and CSS in integrated application environments. The ideal candidate is extremely organized and comfortable in a multi-tasking environment. Knowledge of Fleet Management and vehicle maintenance industry is an advantage. You must be a self starter and willing to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain quality software code, which contributes towards the evolution of the company's core product suite.
- Ability to write source code to be delivered on time, which meets defined project standards, deadlines and budget.
- Ability to provide estimates on future/proposed development programs and accurate progress reports to support project planning activities.
- Analyze existing programs by examining and identifying areas for modification/enhancement.
- Provide customer analysis for user specification creation and feedback.
- Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.
- Working closely with other staff, such as, Project Managers, Business and Systems Analysts, QA Manager and Sales and Marketing professionals.
- Consulting with clients/colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems to clarify issues and implement enhancements.
- Maintain technical knowledge and proficiency.
- Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.
- Ability to document work performed including technical documentation for inclusion in release notes, code and design reviews, team review meetings and project planning input .
- Attend client meetings on and off site were appropriate.
- Ability to manage own time effectively and ensure tasks are prioritized and organized to ensure the best use of time.
Required Skills/Experience
- C#, SQL, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- MCP with .net 3.5 or above qualifications in software development.
- Self starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Analytical, methodical with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic team environment with good communication skills.
