The 2006 User day has been hailed a great success with attendees from around the globe travelling to Derby for the event. Sarah Monk, Support Manager, who organised the event commented "...everyone enjoyed the day, the presentations were pertinent topics and clearly delivered ... everyone bar one person said that they would come again ... and everyone enjoyed the food immensely" Ashley Sowerby, Managing Director commented "..for me it was a very enjoyable day, and provided an excellent opportunity to discuss the issues that most affect our clients - and also to identify ways in which Chevin can help them to achieve Best Practice. An increasing area of concern remains Duty of Care, and with the recent developments to our solutions the attendees were able to see how they could reduce their own risk without necessarily increasing workload." "It was also good to see a much more international flavour to the event, with customers from a number of countries making the journey". Extending the international flavour even further, Ron Katz, Senior Vice President, North America Sales for Chevin also attended for the first time; "For me the event was incredibly useful; to review and compare the differences between European and US operations, and also to see how the various customers are using the systems. For my part, I hope I was able to add to add an alternate viewpoint looking at things from 'across the pond'".
