Penhall Company Gains Real-Time Control Over North American Fleet

Massachusetts based Chevin Fleet Solutions has been chosen by the one of the largest construction service providers in the United States - the Penhall Company - to help it optimize its diverse 3,500 unit fleet of highly-specialized construction equipment through the use of Chevin’s innovative web-based fleet management system, FleetWave®.

Currently, Penhall relies on paper files, spread sheets and white boards to record complex fleet information including maintenance records, inspection schedules, expenses claims, fuel consumption and even job assignments, making it incredibly difficult to manage all of this disparate fleet operating data in a simple and meaningful way.

When FleetWave® is rolled-out, all this information will be integrated into a centralized enterprise-wide system, including maintenance details from Penhall’s more than 30 locations and workshops. FleetWave® provides a user-friendly method to simplify data-capture across the organisation, tracking and managing the assignment of equipment to jobs as well as the associated costs of operating this equipment for each construction job.

During the coming months, Penhall will be deploying FleetWave® across most of their 35 divisions across the U.S. and Canada, enabling the organisation to standardize fleet management practices, ensure regulatory compliance and increase equipment uptime, all while improving efficiencies and reducing unnecessary costs.
