Chevin Fleet Solutions, the global asset management software provider, has appointed Paul Dolby as APAC sales and marketing manager. Dolby comes in as Chevin continues to strengthen its regional operation and build on its enviable client list, including names such as General Motors, Volkswagen, Star Track Express & Abi Group.

Dolby will be focused on maintaining and expanding Chevin?s established market share and will execute a growth strategy built around the company?s core offering, which includes the web-based asset management application, FleetWave®.

With extensive experience in establishing regional business divisions, Dolby joins Chevin after four years with IntraLinks, the software as a Service (SaaS) provider for secure collaboration, where he was responsible for the management and growth of major corporate accounts. Prior to this, Dolby spent six years establishing the APAC division of a prominent Telematics provider.

Commenting on the appointment, Ashley Sowerby, managing director of Chevin, remarks: "With over a decade of experience and proven success in the Asia Pacific region, Paul will be a valuable addition to the team. Paul understands our vision, and the benefits we can bring to clients and prospects through our proven service offering."

Dolby, who will be based in Sydney, adds: "These are exciting times for everyone, particularly as market leading corporations acknowledge the need to embrace technology for asset management. In the current climate, no organisation should be able to resist a service that offers a proven return on investment, through managing what typically represents their most expensive and valuable assets"
