Introduction

Abigroup is one of Australia's leading and most diverse national contractors. To date it has successfully delivered some of the country's largest and most important infrastructure and construction projects and is poised to continue this success into the future.

Client Brief

The primary aim of the new fleet management system was to centralise the fleet data. Previously all fleet data was contained in around 20 spreadsheets making company wide reporting a lengthy process. The system also needed to integrate with J.D.Edwards to both send and receive financial data. Abigroup wanted to maintain the history they had built up to date, so the new system must be able to store this. A key driver was also in the monitoring of fuel spend and usage. As Abigroup were growing rapidly, they needed to ensure all expenses were within accordance with the fleet policy.
