RoadBASE - Smart tools make Fleet management easier
Smart Tools
Before starting development of RoadBASE®, we talked to a large number of clients to find out what they considered to be critical, and equally, what should be left out of a comprehensive Fleet Management solution. A common request was to allow regular tasks to be performed in a single, intelligent, operation.
Chevin's solution was to develop a series of Smart Tools. Each tool performs a specific task in the simplest, most intuitive way possible. A selection of these are described below.

This picture shows just one way that the system can be tailored to meet individual needs. "The thing you notice when you start up RoadBASE® is how familiar it looks, with the opening screen of Windows explorer. Fleet Status Smart ToolThis tool provides an at-a-glance review of the current fleet status. It highlights overdue, due and pending events in a simple list view, which responds to the users selections in real time. The event list can also be extended by the user, for example, by including additional inspection dates (Refer, Bodywork, etc.) |

Warranty Search ToolWhenever you replace parts on a vehicle, RoadBASE® automatically carries out a Warranty Search. The aim of this search is to identify potential warranty claims, either against the original manufacturer, or a third party workshop. Alternatively, you can manually carry out this search using the interactive version of the tool, shown here. |
