Introduction

When major vehicle manufacturer Renault UK recently launched its first-ever dedicated fleet website, renaultfleet.co.uk, the site was created to specifically cater to the specialist needs of its fleet customers and to make the life of a fleet manager much easier. Previous web enquiries from Renault's fleet customers were treated the same as retail customer requests, with no specialist fleet web service. So Renault conducted a survey of fleet operators of varying sizes to ascertain which online features would be of most use to them and what they would specifically like to see on a dedicated fleet website.

Client Brief

The brand new site was designed to include unique features not available on any other manufacturers' fleet websites, including a fleet management software system, which is offered for use free of charge. Renault needed to find an easy-to-use, web-based application to fulfil their criteria and there was only one company able to supply the most appropriate fleet management system - Chevin Fleet Solutions.
