New Year, New Customers

Chevin Fleet Solutions has been busy installing their popular Windows-based fleet management solutions to a number of customers over the New year, including, Hopwells, Gerrard Chauffeur Drive, Thorntons Recycling and Royal Berkshire Ambulance Trust - all with their own very unique requirements.
RoadBASE® is Chevin Fleet Solutions’ long established fleet management software and a popular choice amongst small and medium sized fleet operations that want a flexible and user-friendly system. These are some of the customers who recently bought RoadBASE:
Hopwells, a catering distribution company, required fleet and workshop management software when they took over a workshop. They needed to keep track of not only their own vehicles, but also their client’s and required a system that managed maintenance services, MOT reminders, job cards and stock checks. Hopwells opted for RoadBASE® for Workshops and are already finding a vast improvement in efficiency and administration timescales.
Gerrard Chauffeur Drive Ltd, based in London, provides a broad range of chauffeur services throughout the world. Previously they used Excel and VRS software but found that it became very limited for their purposes. Predominantly, they wanted a system that would interact with their VIP online booking software but also wanted to be able to carry out cost analysis, keep full details on vehicles maintenance and import fuel issues. RoadBASE® matched their requirements.
Thorntons Recycling is a family run business, based in Dublin that provide a range of recycling and environmental services. They chose RoadBASE® because the system was adaptable and flexible enough to meet all their future requirements and included workshop management. Previously all the fleet information had been on spreadsheets or paper which caused more waste than efficiency! They will also use the system to import data from their fuel cards, saving them valuable time.
Royal Berkshire Ambulance Trust required a system that could efficiently manage their 250-strong fleet, internal workshop and enhance their stock control system. RoadBASE® fitted the bill perfectly. They are also using a cordless scanner to speed up data inputting which feeds the information directly into RoadBASE®. Chevin’s previous work with other blue light organisations, together with the flexibility of the system, really gave them the confidence that they were choosing the right system for their operation.
Lastly, RoadBASE® Xpress, the entry-level, shrink-wrapped version of RoadBASE® for companies on a limited budget, also gained some new customers, including
Yamaha Kemble Music UK Ltd and London Waste Ltd.
